Who is AHX Direct?

AHX Direct is a vehicle transportation marketplace used by individuals looking to ship their personal vehicles. The AHX Direct platform gives individuals access to the same carriers used by some of the largest shippers in the world in the Auto Hauler Exchange marketplace.

Why doesn’t AHX Direct give me a quote?

AHX Direct is a marketplace, not a broker. We give you a suggested market estimate that we believe will be picked up by carriers interested in moving your vehicle, but we do not set the price for you. If you want to price your vehicle higher to get it moved faster, go for it. If you have more flexibility on timing, you may be able to price your vehicle lower. You’re in control.

Is my vehicle insured during transport?

Yes. Every vehicle moved through AHX Direct is fully insured during transport. We only work with licensed, verified carriers who meet or exceed industry insurance coverage standards.

How do I know I’m not being scammed?

We understand the fear — your vehicle is precious. AHX Direct provides clear communication, written confirmation, and verified carrier details. You’ll always know who’s moving your car and how to reach them.

How long does shipping usually take?

Most shipments take 3-7 days, depending on distance and route. We’ll give you a realistic timeline up front and keep you informed along the way.

Can I put personal items in my car?

For insurance and safety reasons, we require you to remove all personal belongings. If you have small, non-valuable items (like floor mats or phone chargers), that’s fine—just no heavy or fragile cargo.

What if my vehicle is electric or a luxury model?

Our carriers can handle all vehicle types, including EVs and enclosed luxury transports. Some modifications to vehicles may require more to move (things like lift kits, certain roof racks, etc). Complete the form to post your vehicle, and if you indicate you have modifications, our team will reach out to complete the transaction.

When do I pay?

The full payment is authorized upon booking, however your payment will not be captured until pickup is complete.

What if something goes wrong?

In the rare event of damage or delay, our support team will guide you through every step.
